Privacy at Seatcount
A static site with no accounts, no forms and no mailing list. What that means for your data, and what happens at the vendor's end of a partner link.
The short version
Seatcount is a static website. It has no accounts, no comments, no shopping basket, no newsletter and no sign-up form, so there is nothing here that asks you for personal information and nothing that stores it.
What this site collects
Nothing directly. No form on this site sends data anywhere, because there are no forms. No cookie is set by Seatcount itself.
If you email [email protected], that message and your address sit in an ordinary mailbox and are used to reply to you and, where the message is a price correction, to check and update a page. They are not added to any list, because no list exists.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served as plain files. Like any web server, the host records ordinary request data — IP address, time, the page requested, the browser's user-agent string — for security and to keep the site running. These logs are not used to build a profile of you and are not sold or shared for advertising.
Links to other sites
Some links here go to CRM vendors. Some of those are partner links, which are marked as sponsored and pass through a /go/ redirect on this domain so that a single list of destinations can be kept honest and auditable. The redirect records nothing about you beyond the ordinary server log described above.
Once you arrive at a vendor's site, that vendor's privacy policy applies and this one does not. Vendors and their affiliate networks commonly set their own cookies to attribute a signup; what they collect is described in their policies, not here.
Analytics and advertising
Seatcount runs no advertising network, no retargeting pixel and no third-party tracking script. If analytics are ever added, this page will say which tool, what it measures and how to opt out — before it is switched on, not afterwards.
Children
This site is written for people buying business software and is not directed at children.
Your rights
Because no personal data is collected through the site, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us and would like that correspondence removed, say so at the same address and it will be deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes, the change will be described here rather than announced by email, since there is no mailing list to announce it to.
